A shared space
At the World Gas Conference, Porte de Versailles in Paris, technistand was invited to create a stand bringing together for the first time, 13 companies of the Vinci Group. The idea was to divide an exhibition space, while creating a common reception area. A difficult year, accentuated by the presence of two very large pillars in Hall 1, Porte de Versailles, on the Vinci Group stand.

In addition to creating a space bringing together 13 exhibitors for this world-renowned exhibition, the World Gas Conference, the challenge was to define a common communication strategy and a unique visual identity. The Vinci logo has become a matter of course. It was positioned at the top of the building, suspended above the stand. Its circular shape allowed a 360° visibility, thus guaranteeing each exhibitor the same identity visibility.
Each of the 13 companies had a thematic panel with its own logo on top, as well as other posters on specially designed communication supports, a kind of mini claustra with vegetation on the feet. These supports have notably made it possible to delimit the various spaces, while preserving the unity and fluidity of visitor traffic.
Video screens had been added to support this thematic communication.
Around the stand, two walls were erected carrying the group’s communication messages. Depending on the needs of each exhibitor, model stands, tables and other counters were also placed on the stand. To add to the convenience and meet the needs of exhibitors, a large common storage area was created, allowing individual storage of brochures and personal effects. A second reserve was used to accommodate the products offered at the bar.
The central point of the stand is the reception area, consisting of a generous and welcoming bar. The latter was cleverly placed between the two pillars of the exhibition hall, in order to conceal them and integrate them into the overall architecture of the stand, thanks to a covering several metres high, forming two totems bearing the Vinci Group logo. This private open space, accessible by all exhibitors, provided a warm welcome for visitors, prospects and customers.
